Python/Go SDE with DevOps Skills

Akvelon is looking for a Python/Go Software Development Engineer with DevOps skills to work on scalable backend systems, cloud-based services, automation, and infrastructure-related development. This role is suitable for an engineer who can build reliable backend solutions, work with distributed systems, support deployment processes, and collaborate with international engineering teams.

Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Python and/or Go.
Build scalable, reliable, and maintainable software solutions.
Support DevOps-related tasks, including deployment, automation, and monitoring.
Work with cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and containerized environments.
Collaborate with engineering, QA, DevOps, and product teams.
Troubleshoot production issues and support system reliability.
Write clean, testable, and well-documented code.
Participate in code reviews and technical discussions.
Improve development processes, automation, and system performance.
Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing.

Strong commercial experience with Python and/or Go.
Good understanding of backend development and distributed systems.
Experience with REST APIs, microservices, or service-oriented architecture.
Practical DevOps knowledge, including CI/CD, Docker, monitoring, and automation.
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is a plus.
Familiarity with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redis, or similar tools.
Understanding of Linux environments and scripting.
Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in an international engineering team.
Good written and spoken English communication skills.
